These are the absolute ultimate showerheads.

First of all, the water pressure they provide is phenomenal, even in low-pressure locations. Even with the flow restrict thing still in there.

Second, the "Volume" knob allows you to lower the water volume without messing with the main taps, so you don't lose that perfect water temperature.

I've been using Speakman Anystream 2000 showerheads for years. The only reason I've ever had to replace one is because I moved, or I dropped one on the floor.

This light was part of a complete bathroom remodel.We bought it based on a picture in the Kohler catalog, having never seen it in person.
The fixture has a good, heavy feel. The metal parts are substantial.
The brushed nickel and clear finish are very well done.
The mount bracket is solid and had all the screws and wire nuts needed.
Very nice quality at a reasonable price.

USE: Bollard Double Towel Bar Review

While this product looks fabulous, it is completely inadequate for use as a double towel bar. I wouldn't trust it to hold two washcloths at the same time. Once mounted, the unit leans whichever way the bars are facing. It is a poorly designed product, unstable for actually holding two towels on it. I had to return it.

I just completed a renovation of my very small and only bathroom in a 1914 apartment. My eyes were way bigger than my bathroom because the first towel bar and shelving unit were way too big for the space. That's when I knew I needed a towel bar/shelf combo. Everything I found at Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware was way too big for the space. I needed something 22" or smaller. I originally found this at Home Depot but for $100 more than Amazon. So I snapped it up. And even with next-day shipping (I'm a Prime member), it was still $95 dollars cheaper and I didn't need to make the trek to the store. It looks fantastic in my bathroom. It provides the vintage look I was going for. Only complaint is that it doesn't come in any other colors. It only comes in polished chrome but hardly a complaint when it fits my bathroom perfectly.

I've just done my bathroom using USE Ollipsis products.Morror, lights, paperholder, etc. and really like the look especially for the price.It cost me half of what my sister spent on her bathroom.However, the towel bar has fallen off the wall twice.I only have two towels hanging from it and it comes down when I try to grab one.It's held to the mounting brackets with one small set screw at each end and they are not up to the task.I have changed the mounts but I'm not sure thats an option for everyone.Just a warning, everything else is great.

This tub spout diverter came with my Kohler Forte shower and tub trim kit.I had my plumber come back and check its operation because it leaked like a sieve when used to divert water to the shower and it diverted water back into the wall every few seconds. It was correctly installed, this is just how it "works."I sent a video of its operation to the plumbing supply company showing its operation. They replied "stop using it" and sent me a Delta replacement.The Delta was installed by the same plumber and it works beautifully.It is a much better design.I've since had two plumbers from two plumbing companies tell me they never install Kohler diverters because of their inferior design.

The shower head is like having someone pour a garden watering can over your head, which is ok I guess but the fact that the two turn buckles that allow you to direct the shower head don't hold for more than 1 or 2 minutes is painful. The shower head crashes into your tile with a bang and you resent, tightening without a wrench but I'm a pretty strong guy and it flops over again. Unless you want to spend good money to throw away a product don't bother. Not to mention the pipe supplied is so short you have to almost stand against the shower head wall to get wet.

KOHLER K-680-KS-NA MasterShower Thermostatic Valve Review

This valve is the size of a lifesize heart! Also, the installer told me he had never seen a valve this monstrous (and he installs bathrooms in Beverly Hills).

If looks count, this thing is a Rolls Royce of faucet; even costs it.It also gets the job done which is fine by me, however, i wish i could blast water to my body at much stronger force.

I dont know if the blast has anthing to do with the valve.

Overall, I was impressed the quality and looks more so than its actual job.

PS> Its fun taking a shower with this thing regardless.

PPS The only reason i am giving four stars is because my installer commented on this.

Moen 21005 Chrome 9" Diameter Showerhead with Seven Function Handshower from the Refresh Collection Review

We purchased this product because I really wanted a rain shower head and my boyfriend likes the hand held shower heads, so this seemed to be the best of both worlds. First, when I was installing it, I noticed that the hook that is used to hold the hand held was placed upside down, so I had to switch the diverter to the other side, which made the hose have to go up and over, rather than under.No big deal. But, when I finally went to test the shower, water sprayed every which way from the diverter.Tightened everything, turned it on again, and still, sprayed everywhere.It wasn't worth the hassle to try other things to fix it, I was already annoyed about the hose having to be upside down (possibly why the whole thing wouldn't work???). I also noticed the hose did not want to unwind and relax, which would have proved to be annoying after a time.

So, if you want to give it a try, do so, but in my estimation this is a sub-par product.Shame on you Moen!

There are two pictures side by side from the seller. The first picture looks like a zoom-in image of knobs and spray. Then the second one shows the completed suite of the faucet, giving me a feeling that this sale incudes all of these parts. In fact, the seller will only deliver you nothing more than two knobs and one spray. I just called amazon to request a return. Depending on the final return result, I will either down grade the rate to 1 star or upgrade to 3 start. The reason I call it "misleading" not "cheating" because later, once I got the package, I re-checked the website and found one sentence says "valve 9000 not included". I was overwhelmed by the "convincing" pictures.

This showerhead is cheap yet it outperforms the original unit in my apartment which was just pitiful. For the price it performs OK producing a fairly satisfying stream but it also is pretty noisy. I don't use the "massage" setting but whatever mechanism they have in there must be responsible for the noise even when set to the normal mode. I'll probably replace it with something else if I ever find myself in a hardware or home improvement store but for now it does the job.

I have searched for several years for the perfect high pressure shower head.I've tried numerous brands from Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and even Ebay.I have even become an expert at removing the flow restriction devices and allowing shower heads to spray at their maximum pressure.

This is handsdown the best shower head I've tried.It doesn't have many settings, but it doesn't need them!On its high pressure spray setting it creates so much force that it forms a breeze in the bathroom.On its standard shower setting it still has a little bit of force, but not enough to sting or make the shower uncomfortable.

I have not tried this shower head with its flow restrictor intact, so I would recommend removing it prior to installation.It is very easy to remove... just use a pair of tweasers or something small to dislodge it from the mount.

Personally, after using this shower head, I am now a Speakman customer for life!Enjoy!

I bought this faucet because it is a simple & cheap way of providing water to a shower I have in my small off-the-grid cabin. Faucet is in kitchen. I run 5/8" ODbraided hose from D-spud on faucet to shower head fixture in bathroom. I open both taps on faucet until I get the right mix of hot & cold water, pull up on the diverter knob, & water flows to shower head which I can turn on & off. I do have to walk back to kitchen to close taps when I finish showering but that's a minor inconvenience.
Faucet has contemporary look, is functional, & is inexpensive.

This valve works great at holding the water temperature once it's installed.

But beware of the installation.The instructions are horrible and baffling.And most plumbers won't even bother to read the instructions, which means that you'll get something that's miscalibrated and whose temperature range will be limited.

It took my plumber 2 tries, each lasting a couple hours, with a 3 hour call to Kohler in between.

If you're going to use this, buy it from a Kohler store and get them to recommend a plumber that they know for certain has installed it before.

I own a Sig P226 and let me see that I cannot believe it took me so long to try this product out.I've gone so long just using BreakFree CLP and other oils.Nothing wrong with those products (still use them on springs and such), but for a gun like a Sig that likes to run "wet"... grease is a must.As far as greases that work really good on slides.. nothing beats this.I have both the Medium and Lite product to use depending on temperature and whether or not I'm going out with my conversion kit (lite for the conversion kit and used during cold weather).Immediately, after application.. you'll feel the difference on your slide.It's like there's some kind of buffering effect.Shame my slide had to take somewhat of a beating before I discovered this product.On a side note.. I purchased leur lock syringes and blunt needles (both of which I purchased on Amazon) to help apply this product directly on the rails of the slide.

ASIN B000MF5ZA8 - This set of shelves is great, but the misleading info on the listing earns it the removal of a star.

First, it arrived it a remarkably heavy package. The tempered glass shelves weigh more than the rest of the item put together. The package was not marked FRAGILE or marked in any way to indicate that there was glass inside. The shelves were carefully wrapped together; the only negative is that they were all packed together, putting all of the weight on one end of the box. More even weight-distribution would be a good idea.

The instructions are simple and, since most of what you have to do is repeat the same series of steps over and over, they're easy to follow. No tools are necessary, a huge bonus for those who don't own tools or use them with any skill. The result is an attractive and fairly sturdy set of shelves.

The deception is in this claim, from the item's product description: "High polished chrome". While there IS some chrome involved, a majority of what looks like chrome is really pretty, shiny plastic. I don't mind pretty, shiny plastic - I MIND being deceived.

I must say that I am quite please with this shower head.Before installing this shower head I always experience low water pressure and if you are taking a shower and someone is opening a tap somewhere else in the house there is a terrible drop in pressure, but since I change to the moen 6304 I must say there is vast improvement in the pressure delivered from the shower head, its so good that u can really feel the massage effect when you stand under the shower with full pressure.
I must say that I have been purchasing from Amazon for a few years well and there has been no major disappointments to keep me from purchasing from them.

I researched all sorts of drill bits and techniques to install two Ginger towel bars through 3/8" thick marble wall tiles in our new bathroom.Marble is not as hard as granite, but can be split/cracked if the wrong drill bit is used.The tile store insisted I use a diamond core bit that proved too difficult for the novice (me) to use properly.I only had 8 holes to drill and wasn't going to risk learning on the job how to use the diamond core drill bit.This Bosch GT300 drill bit (and the smaller 3/16" GT200) went through the tiles very easily.I just took my time, used a slow drill speed with moderate pressure, and kept the bit cool with an occasional dunk in water.The tip of the bit started the holes right where I marked them on the walls rather than walk around the face of the tile as the diamond core and masonary bits tend to do. If you have one, you can use a Dremel tool with their Tile Cutting Bit # 562 to start the hole as well - just enough to prevent the larger 1/4" bit from walking the face of the tile.

I've always liked Bosch power tools, and their accessories like these Glass & Tile Bits are super.

Nice modern design - streamline look. However, as no shower arm is needed, head screws directly into plumbing fitting behind wall. Be Aware that rough-in MUST be perfectly level (you would normally have some room for error with standard install as shower arm + cover plate would cover any minor offsets). I had to return the first head as it was broken (likely due to over use of force trying to install/correct this issue). I did install the head, however there is a slight gap between wall and fixture due to plumbing - which can't be rectified as it is in-wall and behind newly installed tile. I will fill gap with a matching grout/caulk ... final result is ok ... however not if you are a perfectionist.

I was curious to see how this cool looking contender in the low flow shower head department would actually compare to my all time favorite, the Oxygenics low flow shower heads with life time warranties.

It is a nice looking, well made, and easy to install unit, but it does not have the range of adjustment and flow control valve that makes the Oxygenics such a great performer.The finish is more of a satin finish, less high intensity chromed look of the Oxygenics, as well. and the warranty is for 5 years not for life.Oxygenics will replace even "cosmetic" failures at no charge.For many users with water supplies that cause stains, hard water deposits, etc., this is quite a nice premium service.

Over all it works well, does what it claims, but does so in a sort of grudging, "Hey, I am not an Oxygenics shower head, friend, eh?" sort of Canadian-like pleasant manner that nonetheless admits with chagrin that its duties and talents are essentially second string.

I understand that Oxygenics now offers models in a variety of finishes and upscale looks, and that there is even a new GreenSerenity version that offers full antibacterial protection for less than $60.00!One of my concerns in buying new shower heads was to find models that were stainless steel and had internal profiles that would inhibit bacterial growth and build up.Again, it appears that the Oxygenics has one more advantage as the unit disassembles to allow easy internal cleaning and disinfection on a regular basis.

So, I am not saying that the Alsons Chrome low flow shower head fails to be a useful product, or that some may not prefer its particular spray pattern and flow.Its very good.But in the end, it simply just is not the wonderful product that the Oxygenics is.

In the past, I have purchased Waterpik hand-held showerheads and was reasonably satisfied, though the reliability of them kept diminishing with each subsequent purchase (the first one lasted over a dozen years, and the last about 2.5 years).When the bracket on the most recent one cracked, I decided to try another manufacturer.

I didn't know what I was missing!The Speakman is vastly superior in coverage (though it doesn't have a "pulsating" setting as the Waterpik did), the bracket is more adjustable for height, and the hose is longer and made out of a better-quality material.Most imporant, it seems to maximize water pressure (almost equal to a fixed showerhead, in fact) in a way that the Waterpik never did.

Since this is a new purchase, its longevity is unknown; but so far, it is a definite improvement and highly recommended.

I agree, this item deserves 10 stars!I would consider myself semi-handy and was able to install the Swash in about an hour, including having to make a hardware store run (3min away) to get a longer water supply line.My toilet had an 8" supply line, which if I tried to make it connect to the T-valve it would've had a kink, so I needed to get a 12" line.I ordered the round seat, but being that my toilet is like 50 years old, I guess it's not made by today's standard and so I had to tweak the mounting plate a bit to allow the seat to click in place nicely, which resulted in the swash toilet seat sitting an inch over the front in of the toilet.No matter, it doesn't hinder it's function in any way.

Being that my toilet is as old as it looks and the Swash has a kind of modern look, the combination is kind of funky looking, but again that doesn't matter to me because the Swash functions beautifully!The water pressure is great!I'll never have to use scratchy toilet paper or baby wipes ever again!Once you try this puppy, you can never go back!If I could only fold the thing up and take with me where ever I go!

The Swash 250 has two settings, one for the "back" which it hits with deadly accuracy.The "front" setting for the gals... you might need to lean up a bit to get it.

It's a rather exhilarating experience.The feeling of freshness you get from this thing is just... there are no words!All in all I LOVE this thing!Every member of my family loves it!

First of all, this shower box is just a piece of sheet metal bent into the shape of a box with sand sprayed on to it (not worthmore than $20). This is way overpriced! Additionally, it was not waterproofed very well. Second of all, this company doesn't care about its customers. They told me when I complained about the product that they didn't care about making the customer happy, they cared about not losing money. What does that mean? Their representative told me that he didn't blame me for sending it back and that he just tells his friends to use a two by four to build their own box for a lot less money. This was helpful advice. When I returned the product, they didn't give me a full refund. I am still awaiting a respond from Amazon. I give a negative star for the quality of the product and two negative stars for Artistic Tile and Stone's customer service. Shame on you Artistic Tile and Stone! You stole my hard earned money that I make from teaching children with special needs. Apparently, you feel that you need the money more than I do.

I've used this drill bit to drill holes in my porcelain bathroom tiles to install different fixtures for towels, etc.I could not get through the porcelain tile with my regular bit nor the masonry drill bit (both were relatively new and still sharp). With this bit, it felt almost too easy - I drilled about 10 holes in about 5 minutes. It was almost like cutting through butter.
One issue is that I ran into a metal post behind the tile while drilling my last hole and the bit got immediately ruined. However, $5 or so price tag is still worth it in my opinion.Just get a few of these for a big job.

We've had 2 of these shower heads installed for a few months now. I did buy this to reduce water consumption. Our water bills here outside of Atlanta run about $10 or more per 10k gallons. There was a drought for several years here and this area relies on surface water and lakes were going dry. Anyway, its hard to tell if it has reduced our consumption by 20% or so because our usage fluctuates up to 3,000 or 4,000 gallons per month. But what I can tell you is that it turns the average shower stream into a much higher flow rate. Its because there is a lot of air mixed in. It feels great when it hits your skin. Its not high enough velocity to sting, but its probably pretty close. It appears to be well built, I like the quality. We use the single stream, the 3 stream option is weaker but does give an almost wall to wall spread in our shower stall. It was pretty simple to install. It probably is reducing the water bill because of the air it mixes with the stream. There is so much air in fact that I now take my showers now the water temperature all the way on hot because of all the cool air mixing with the water. On your skin, the water temp feels the same as the setting I used before. But, you can feel how hot the water really is when you shampoo your hair, probably because of the way it accumulates in your hair, no longer surrounded by all the air. Anyway, I recommend because it gives such an invigorating feel to my showers now and its well built.I took a star off because its not obvious that there is a significant drop in water usage or reduction in the gas heating bill because now we use hotter water in our showers to compensate for the air flow.

I've retrofitted every place I've lived for the past 12 years with this shower head.Yes, I'm glad that they save water, but the main reason I like these shower heads is that they deliver an incredible amount of water pressure and make for an excellent shower.

As others have said, the water comes out as a powerful, but fine mist rather than multiple streams.Some people with extremely hard water have said that the holes start to clog after a time, but I've never had a problem with mine even with moderately hard water.You can always replace the head fairly cheaply, but you can also easily clean it by soaking the head in a little CLR or Limeaway in order to eat away the scale.

I can't recommend this highly enough.It's a product with improved performance that just happens to be environmentally friendly.If you're stuck trying to find a stocking stuffer, this is a quirky but useful choice!

There is a chart that comes with it telling the mix of blades and chippersfor each common thickness (I put mine in a sheet protecter to help me findit).If it is off just a little, slip in one or more of the suppliedplastic shims to acheive perfection!I have a cheap caliper that I checkplywood with and that gets me pretty close on the first try.
I wascutting a bunch of dados last night in 3/4" birch plywood and therewas absolutely no splintering or tearout.I was using a shop made plywoodinsert in my Jet table saw that was probably 3/64" below the cast irontable.In other words, it was a not-quite-zero-clearance insert and stillno problems.
I have a couple of old wobble blades and a Wards set thatbetween them can't hold a trott-line, so I don't know what I'll use themfor now.The Forrest Dado King is the only one I'll ever use again!

This is the shower head only; you will need to buy the hose and coupling separately.

The opening is a standard 1/2" male threaded end.While there are hoses available from Grohe, much less costly options are available.I used this on the hose and hardware from my former shower unit (also bought on Amazon): Waxman 8679200 5-Spray Distinctives Handheld Showerhead, Chrome.I wrapped the male end in teflon plumbers tape. So far, I have not seen any leaks.

If you don't mind the price, this shower head is a very good product.

Bought this at Lowe's and hoped it would be as advertised.
The flow was AWFUL, simply the worst. Changing the settings doesn't do much of anything for the pressure of water coming out. I know it has a water saver feature, but this is ridiculous. It is going back right away. Very disappointing. The chome shower head is plastic painted to look like chrome. We have great water pressure, but not when using this.

Waterpik 6-Setting Handheld Showerhead - Chrome Review

I bought this as a replacement for my old, cracked handheld showerhead.Although it looks the same, with a chrome finish both on the showerhead itself, and on the hose, it works much better than the old, generic one.

One of the big advantages is the easily removeable 2.5 gpm limiter.If you don't have a lot of water pressure to start with, this can make a big difference in the feel of the shower.But there's also something about this design that carries the water pressure through, even aside from the limiter.Even with the limiter, it feels way better than my old showerhead.

And it's worth the extra money to upgrade to this model from the basic Waterpik showerhead.Cosmetically, the hose is not just a bare rubber hose like you find on cheaper models.Functionally, the pressure comes through much better, so that this model in my upstairs bathroom now feels better than the basic model in my downstairs (better pressure) bathroom!

I think there is enough variety in the settings to satisfy most people.I don't think the number of settings is a big feature.
